Solari Inc.
Solari Inc. is a financial advisory company founded by former Wall Street investment banker, Catherine Austin Fitts. The company helps people understand today’s financial risks and opportunities and give advice and guidance to families and individuals to create real financial and living wealth. Solari offers a unique perspective on the global financial system. Through audio tapes, lectures, workshops, radio interviews and private consultation, Solari teaches people about the “tapeworm economy”, how to “come clean” from it and how to invest in “financial intimacy:. Highly conversant in the workings of global finance and Washington politics, Catherine is committed to changing the system by creating an alternative, sustainable, community and family friendly economic system.
Center for Holistic Ecology

The Center for a Holistic Ecology is located on 94 acres in the hills of Lewis County. The Center’s greatest impact is through its education and networking efforts. Since June 2007 CHE has collaborated with 12 other organizations to educate over 4000 individuals about the energy crisis, while providing a range of potential solutions such as local economic and cooperative development, lifestyle simplification and use of appropriate technologies. The CHE staff helped organize and run three Sonnenschein Green Power Festivals featuring green power speakers, eco-films, exhibitors, and alternative fuel and vehicle exhibits. In April of 2007 the CHE staff helped organize a Climate Action Rally at Vanderbilt University, including a tree giveaway for carbon sequestration. CHE has partnered with The Global Village Institute for Appropriate Technology to secure a $50,000 grant for Local Economic Development and Green Education Initiative. The members of the Center for a Holistic Ecology are presently principle directors of the Gaia University accredited green business course, Financial Permaculture in Hohenwald, TN on Oct 24-28 2008.
Ecovillage Training Center
Located on The Farm at the eastern edge of Lewis County Tennessee, ETC is a training center in sustainable living. It holds courses and workshops, apprenticeships and special demonstrations in green lifestyles. The facility is located in a permaculture setting with protected woods and meadows, an eco-hostel, organic garden, swales, ponds and learning center. It hosts courses in permaculture, organic certifications, herbology, installation of solar electric systems, solar waterheating, mushroom cultivation, cob, earthbag and strawbale construction biofuels and a host of courses designed by Gaia University. The ETC has trained students from over 50 countries and is pleased to be working locally with the Hohenwald Financial Permaculture project.
Gaia University
Gaia University offers accredited bachelors and masters degrees for action-learning world changers committed to eco-social regeneration. Gaia University nurtures systematic and conscious development of emerging leaders, visionaries, elders, and activists, through in the formation of initiatives to co-create integrated, regenerative, ecological, communitarian and ethical human societies. Students earn their degree within a holistic support structure by implementing real world projects and documenting their process to best share their work within a growing international network. Gaia University links organizations using the allied vectors of teaching and learning. Thus organizations retain their unique missions while linking cooperatively to provide a learning ecology increasing the number and scope of global regeneration initiatives.
Living Mandala

Living Mandala is a growing collective of educators, organizers and designers committed to eco-social regeneration based on the organizing intelligence of nature exhibited through the emergence of life. Members of Living Mandala design facilitate and produce courses, workshops and events and offer consultation services to implement ecologically and socially regenerative practices within a diverse set of holistic fields including: Ecological & Regenerative Design, Permaculture, Natural Building, Nature Awareness, Indigenous Wisdom, Rites of Passage, Appropriate Technology, Renewable Energy, Group Facilitation, Holistic Organizational Design, Project Management, Leadership, Action-Learning, Embodiment Practices, Visionary Stewardship, Reality Creation Technologies, Community Activation, Universal Spirituality, and more. The mission of Living Mandala is to increase awareness, to create educational opportunities, and to catalyze project activities that implement ecologically and socially regenerative practices of human being living in harmony with each other and their environment.
The Leadership School
The goal of the Leadership School is to train tomorrow’s leaders in the sustainable skills of the 21st Century. Present courses being offered are found in the personal growth category. They hold workshops in area of increasing your emotional intelligence and expanding your abundance consciousness. The school is concentrating on teaching a green business curriculum with workshops included in marketing, sales and internet skills. The staff of The Leadership School is involved in the creation and management of the upcoming Financial Permaculture course in Hohenwald, Tennessee.

The Sonnenschein Committee
The Sonnenschein Committee has hosted three successful green energy fairs in the Town of Hohenwald. Now the Sonnenschein Green Business Summit is the base layer of the Financial Permaculture workshop in October. The Summit will integrate local leaders and business people into the participatory design for local and sustainable businesses.
The Farm Community
The Farm Community has more than fifteen non-profits and associated businesses and is a model for cooperative right livelihood. Members of the Farm Community are participating in the Financial Permaculture event as organizers, teachers and students.
The Hohenwald-Lewis County Chamber of Commerce
The Hohenwald-Lewis County Chamber of Commerce is a model for intelligent business, and has been a key supporter of the Green Business Summit and Financial Permaculture Initiative, through the Leadership Lewis Program.
